What to do...I'm so happy!
I know I promised to talk about the Fall Out Boy concert...don't worry, it'll come. Right now I have more pressing matters to talk about.
I hadn't heard from Glenn in a week and I checked my voicemail and there was nothing. And I was trying to tell myself it doesn't matter, there are other guys out there. Fuck him! He doesn't deserve me! Then I checked my e-mail for the millionth time this week. I logged on and it said I have 1 new message. I was like, I know it's not from him and I was totally sure it wouldn't be. I clicked on my inbox and...it was from him! I was just shocked at first. Then I read it and he promised to call me this weekend. He actually used the word 'promise'! Be cool, be cool. Don't blow this, girl. He's so cute...and I just want to kiss him and kiss him! But I gotta play by the rules. Talk about my busy, fulfilling life. Exude self-confidence. Be flirty, but not aggressively so. Remember my mantras:
1. They're real and they're apectacular!
2. I am the hottest thing in this room!
3. I make people happy just by smiling!
4. I am beautiful!
5. Any guy would be lucky to have me!
God, I hope I don't blow this. I've never even really had a boyfriend and I so want him. I really want to be his girlfriend. Do you want to hear about our first two dates?
Date #1:
Aug. 2nd, Cheesecake Factory.
We met and talked for about 4 hours straight. Really. We had dinner. We shared a piece of cheesecake. The bill came, we were still talking. He paid in cash by the way, but I've got enough credit for a few people. He did leave a good tip. They took the bill, we were still talking. They took our bread plates and extra silverware away, we were still talking. They took our, by then watered-down, drinks away, we were still talking. Someone came and wiped down the table, we were still talking. I couldn't even tell you if it was the same waiter who did all that or not. Then Mom called and we decided to call it a night. He waited with me until Dad came to pick me up. Glenn was looking at me like...I don't know, like he really liked me. He said, "You probably don't want me to hug you with your dad watching." I said that I was embarressed and we shared a handshake instead. It was kind of a lame way to end a date, but it was also sweet that he understood how I felt.
---It's getting late now. Date #2 and what led up to it in an upcoming blog. G'night!
